Environmental Policy

Real Point has, from its inception, been a keen advocate of reducing its impact on the environment. Just a few of the ways we try to reduce our impact include:

• Paper recycling since the business began in 1994
• Having a switch off policy and the recent introduction of auto monitor switch off when computers are shut down
• Encouraging clients to investigate power saving measures in their business
• Looking at ways to reduce paper usage, avoiding printing out where possible and making use of email at every opportunity
• Making increased use of remote support technologies to reduce the carbon impact of travelling
• Promoting and supplying cost effective video conferencing solutions to allow busineses to reduce their air and road travel
• Working with local charities to recycle redundant computers
