For many home users, Outlook Express was the email reader of choice. Since Windows XP it was removed and we had Windows Mail. But for many this lacked many of the features they liked in Express.

So what do we do when clients are looking for a free email reader? We normally install Thunderbird. It’s a great alternative and provides the essential inbox, plus calendar and task management. So if you’re looking for a different email client, why not give it a try?
